Release of Liability, Waiver & Assumption of Risk
I understand that horseback riding and ranch activities are inherently dangerous and carry a risk of serious injury, disability, or death. Horses can be unpredictable and may react to sounds, movements, objects, other animals, or people. I voluntarily choose to participate in riding, horsemanship, cattle work, and other ranch activities at JT Ranch with full knowledge of these risks.
Assumption of Risk. I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation, and assume full responsibility for myself (and my minor child/ward, if applicable), including any injury, loss, or damage.
Release & Waiver. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue JT Ranch, its owners, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Washington Equine Activity Notice. Under Washington State law (RCW 4.24.530–540), an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
Medical Authorization. I authorize JT Ranch to secure emergency medical treatment if needed, and I agree to be responsible for any related costs.
Media Release. I grant JT Ranch permission to use photographs or video taken during activities for promotional purposes, without compensation.
